2025 Scholar Program Nomination

2025 International ACAC
Scholar Program Nomination

If you are applying to be a 2025 Scholar, please use the application form, opening in October. Self-nominating is not necessary.

Thank you for recommending a high-impact, under-resourced advising professional for the 2025 International ACAC Scholar Program! By nominating a colleague, you are helping the Inclusion, Access, & Success (IAS) Committee to identify and encourage nominees to submit a scholarship application for consideration.

There is no limit to the number of nominations you may submit, however each nomination must be submitted separately. Each nomination will support a nominee's application during the review process. Preference will be given to local educators at national schools or community-based organizations who are working with high-achieving, low-income students, and who have had few opportunities to seek professional development.

International ACAC will award scholarships to support several counselors to attend the 2025 Annual Conference at Northeastern University in Boston, USA, followed by the International ACAC Counselor Bus Tour and mentorship for the following year. This scholarship covers conference registration fees, room and board at the event, and air travel expenses.

*PLEASE NOTE: You will be asked to submit an optional personal statement about the nominee. If you are not familiar with the nominee, state that directly and submit the form. If you are familiar with the nominee, please provide a statement that gives the selection committee context on their background and qualifications. You may include observations about their work in a college-counseling context, resources available, and any other professional details you think would strengthen their candidacy. There is no requirement in length; your statement may be as thorough as you feel is appropriate.

For information on past recipients and the program, please visit the Scholar Program webpage.

Deadline for Nominations: October 15
