2025 Committee Application

As a membership organization, International ACAC is governed by an Executive Board elected directly from its membership. Standing Committees work in conjunction with the Board on an array of topics to support the work of the association. They are chaired by the Presidential Team or a Vice President and vary in size depending on their tasks.

Committee members serve for a term of three years, beginning July 1 and ending on July 30 of the third year. While not mandatory, attendance at the Annual Conference by committee members is strongly encouraged, at least once during the three-year term.

Committee appointments are made by the Committee Chair (a Vice President) and reviewed with the President, then formally approved by the Executive Board. Appointments are finalized in March. All members who submitted applications will be contacted.

When applying, you will be asked to indicate your top three committee preferences. While space is limited and many applications are received, we will take your preferences into consideration as the Vice Presidents makes their committee selections.

Committee Service Information
Visit the Committees page on the International ACAC website to review each standing Committee's scope of work. Please note International ACAC's policy on Terms of Committee Tenure: The term of service for each standing committee member shall last three (3) years. Upon completion of the term of service, the member may apply to remain on the committee for up to one (1) additional term of service.

Please share any regional expertise or knowledge you have that is relevant to the committees in which you are interested.
