While not always required, the bank address can sometimes be helpful. Please provide it below in the following format:

  • Postal Code (if applicable)
  • Country

International Bank Account Number (IBAN) - 15-34 characters beginning with letter abbreviation for the country. If you are unfamiliar with the IBAN structure or unsure whether your country uses IBAN numbers, visit the IBAN website.

A SWIFT/BIC code consists of 8-11 characters. The first four letters represent the bank and may look like an abbreviated version of the bank name. The next two letters indicate the country where the bank is located.

Most banks include their SWIFT code in customer account details and on their mobile apps, websites, and statements. Otherwise you can request it from your bank.

Western Union's website provides more information about SWIFT/BIC codes.

Some banks (often those in the United Kingdom) use a SORT CODE (XX-XX-XX). If your bank has a SORT code, please include it here.

Some transfers (often those going to China) require information for a contact person associated with the account. If this is common for your country, please provide their name here and their phone number in the next section.

Please leave a space between the country code and the number.

Every country is a little different, so if you have any additional information or tips for wiring money to your bank, please share that information here.
