2025 The Americas Regional Institute Grant Application

International Association for College Admission Counseling is offering counselor travel grants to support under-resourced, high-impact advising professionals facilitating students’ access and transition to higher education. International ACAC will award travel grants to support several counselors' professional development by financially supporting their attendance at a Regional Institute.

These travel grants are designed to provide funding to cover partial expenses, which may include membership, registration, travel, and housing to allow individuals who would otherwise be prohibited from attending an International ACAC event due to the expenses associated.

APPLICANTS FROM THE REGION WILL BE GIVEN PRIORITY.

Candidates who meet the following criteria will be given preference:

  1. You would not be able to attend a professional development conference outside your current country without considerable financial assistance;
  2. You are working in an under-resourced school where financial support for professional development is limited or non-existent;
  3. You are working with a vision to improve access for students to attend post-secondary education; and,
  4. You have never attended an International ACAC (OACAC), NACAC, or CIS Conference.

The deadline to be considered for the Americas Regional Institute Grant is February 15, 2025.
