Webinar Wednesday Proposal Form

Do you have an idea you want to share with the world (of International ACAC)? The Webinar Wednesday Team is looking for hot topics and informed panelists. While we love those who are ready for their close-up, we also appreciate the colleagues who feel more comfortable behind the scenes but are your go-to people when you have a question.  Have you seen a good session at a conference? Has someone told you that you have good ideas? Please consider proposing a webinar or pass on the names of the presenters!

Proposal Requirements:

  • Lead Panelist 
    • must be member
    • should be a secondary, independent, or university representative that leads the submission of the proposal
    • understand they are responsible for the development of PowerPoint/visuals
    • ensures all panelists are available for the webinar time assigned
  • Panelist(s) 
    • can be any member type or a non-member
    • supports the development of content
    • agrees to be available for webinar time(s)
  • Topic
    • encouraged to be a topic of interest to both university admissions reps and counselors, but it is not a prerequisite. If the topic is focused on one side of the desk, please make this apparent in the description proposed.

Important Information:

  • No panelist can present more than twice on a webinar in a calendar year (lead or additional panelist). This excludes organizational webinars.
  • The diversity of panelists will be taken into consideration. The lead panelist can ask International ACAC Webinar Wednesday team for suggestions and/or team will make suggestions to encourage diverse viewpoints are presented.
  • Webinar Wednesdays are meant to inform our membership. Your presentation should not be used as a promotion of a product or service.
  • Webinar Wednesdays take place at 7:00 AM EST and 7:00 PM EST, typically on the first Wednesday of a month. 

Deadlines: Webinar proposals will be considered ‘active’ 12-18 months after submission. The webinar schedule is typically planned 4-6 months in advance. Webinar proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis; the review committee will confirm acceptance and provide a tentative presentation date. If selected, available dates have 2-4 months lead time to allow for maximum availability.
