Columbia University Pre-College Programs
Step Into University Life with Columbia University’s Pre-College Programs
Columbia University’s Pre-College Programs offer ambitious high school students an eye-opening opportunity to experience an Ivy League campus. These programs provide rigorous academics and real-world experiences and prepare students for college life, immersed in the cultural richness of New York City.
World-Class Academics Taught by Experts
Students choose from 16 subject areas, ranging from STEM and business to humanities and the arts. The programs’ renowned instructors bring real-world expertise to their teaching, offering students an in-depth understanding of complex topics. Each student will be challenged to explore the heights of their potential. They’ll be encouraged to think critically and solve problems in small class sizes that facilitate engaging discussions and provide personalized guidance.
Students in grades 9-12 may participate online or in person. Residential options are available for students aged 15 years or older. Students applying for the residential program must be at least 16 years old by the end of the calendar year in which they participate in the program.
Classes are not for credit. Students receive a certification of participation and an individualized evaluation letter from the instructor.
