We are looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced High School/University Counsellor in our High School Division to join ACS International School Doha, Qatar. The suitable candidate must have a strong background working with students and assisting them in choosing universities.

Responsibilities :

• Present information at a range of meetings and parents’ evenings to educate students and parents about colleges, the college admissions process, trends, procedure and testing.
• Provide advice on academic pathways and course selections to students and their parents throughout the High School so that students make appropriate subject choices.
• Work with the pathway coordinators to provide careers advice in the High School so that students make academic choices with a career in mind.
• To counsel students with learning, physical, social, and emotional concerns through conferences held with students on the basis of teacher, parent, principal, or student self-referral.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably with a master's.
• Certification in school counselling
• Experience working in Secondary School/High School, university and careers counselling/guidance, preferably in an international setting.
• Experience of IB/AP Programmes
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written, demonstrating excellent levels of communication.
