Malvern College Chengdu (MCC), a fast developing all through school in China, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced University and Career Guidance Counsellor .

As the Senior section of the school continues to grow this is an exciting and varied role which will play a key part in the continuing development of our university and careers guidance programme. The role will be partly a teaching role in delivering one subject, and partly a member of university counselling team in MCC. 

The Counsellor will work closely with the Head of University Guidance and Careers, as well as the Head of Senior School, to ensure the effective delivery of the careers and university guidance programme. The role involves advising senior students and their parents on career and university options, helping them make informed decisions based on expert guidance. Additionally, the Counsellor will take on a reasonable teaching load in one of the senior school subjects, implementing and delivering a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students.MCC will support the teacher in developing a comprehensive dual-career pathway, university counselling and subject teaching, and assist teachers in seeking better opportunities for professional growth.
