Check out our post for a University Guidance Counsellor. We are looking for someone to join our team who meets the following requirements:

• A related degree, preferably a Masters or postgraduate degree in counselling, education or another related field
• Previous school experience in university guidance counselling and/or university admissions, preferably at least 5 years of experience in this area
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and persuasively
• Expertise with the university admissions process; previous success with admission to top universities worldwide, familiarity with applications in key destinations such as US, UK, Hong Kong, Canada, and Europe
• Proven familiarity with college and university networks
• Professional relationship with organizations like NACAC or International ACAC
• Working knowledge of university admissions online platforms
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• A growth-mindset looking to continually improve and engage with school and its community on programmes related to university counselling and school activities
• Familiarity with MYP, the IB DP, and applications with a US high school diploma equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a new cultural environment, to bring ideas to the team, a collaborative spirit, and a student-centred ethos.
