EARJ – American School of Rio de Janeiro - is looking for an experienced and accomplished College & Careers Counselor to join our team for July 2027.

REQUIREMENTS AND ATTRIBUTES

Education: Master’s degree in Education/Counseling or a related field; College Counseling qualification, certification, or other officially recognized training.

Experience: 3 to 5 years in international College & Careers Guidance, with a proven track record of supporting students in global admissions.

Language: Fluent in English.

Specific Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of admissions policies in the US, Canada, UK, Europe, and Asia; a good understanding of financial aid for international applicants.

Attributes: Strong organizational skills; capacity to meet multiple, frequent, and competing deadlines; excellent technology skills; a collaborative, team-oriented approach to program delivery; and a dedicated commitment to EARJ’s “Two Campuses, One School” vision.
