Director of High School Counseling
The Director of High School Counseling leads and shapes a comprehensive, proactive, and data-informed counseling program for AES high school students. This role integrates academic advising, social-emotional counseling, safeguarding, and post-secondary and university guidance counseling to ensure that every student is holistically supported and prepared for life beyond high school. The Director serves as the department head, overseeing the annual HS counseling budget and operations, and is a member of the High School Leadership, Admissions, Schoolwide Counseling, and Safeguarding teams. The Director provides strategic vision and direction for the high school counseling office while also maintaining a direct comprehensive counseling caseload of students from grades 9-12.
